RESOLUTION NUMBER 3202
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE FIRST STATE BANK AND
TRUST COMPANY FOR THE'EXCHANGE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE.
BE IT RESOLVED -by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1.' That the Agreement between the City of Salina and the
First State Bank and Trust Company for the exchange of Lot 154 on Fifth Street,
Original Townsite of Salina, which is now owned by the City, for Lot 148 on
Fifth Street, Original Townsite of Salina, which is now owned by the First State
Bank and Trust Company, be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and
on behalf of the City.
Section 2. That upon compliance with the terms of said Agreement
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed
and such other instruments as may be necessary to transfer the title to Lot 154
on Fifth Street, Original Townsite of Salina, to the First State Bank and Trust
Company in accordance with the terms of said Agreement.
Section 3. City Clerk is hereby authorized to secure and deliver to
the First State Bank and Trust Company an abstract of title of an Owner's Policy
of Title Insurance covering Lot 154.,on Fifth Street, Original Townsite of Salina,
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption'.z-.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
9th day of September, 1974.
