ORDINANCE NUMBER '09-10490 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit: A parcel of land located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the 6t" Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of N 00° 15'01" E along the East line of said Southeast Quarter a distance of 49.90 feet to a point on the North right-of-way line of Crawford Street, said point also being the POINT OF BEGINNING of the parcel to be described; — Thence S 89°24'58" W along said North right-of-way line a distance of 373.14 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Replat of.Pheasant Ridge Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas; — Thence N 00°01'28" W along the East line, and extensions thereof, of said Lot I a distance of 1269.92 feet to a point on the North line of the Southeast Quarter of said Southeast Quarter; — Thence N 89°21'58" E along said North line a distance of 379.24 feet to the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; — Thence S 00'15"'01" W along the East line of said Southeast Quarter a distance of 1270.33 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Said parcel contains 10.97 acres, more or less, and is subject to easements, reservations and restrictions of record. meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas. Section 2. That the tract of land described in Section 1 above shall be zoned "A-1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT upon annexation into the city. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
