WHEREAS, the City of Salina, Kansas, has been notified by the
U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that its application number
B -75 -HN -20-0015 for Federal Assistance under Title I of the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 (P.L'.. 93-383) has been approved; and
WHEREAS, the City of Salina, Kansas, desires to implement the programs
and activities set forth in said application; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has, by Resolution Number 3222, been
designated as the City of Salina's chief executive officer and authorized
representative;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the City Manager, as chief executive officer and
authorized representative, is hereby authorized to sign and otherwise execute
the funding agreement between the City of Salina, Kansas, and the Department of
Housing and Urban Development and to act in connection with the grant and to
provide such additional information as may be required.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
30th day of June, 1975.
