ORDINANCE NUMBER 08-10478
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF A CERTAIN
TRACT OF LAND IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the West Half (W %) of Section 31, Township 14 South,
Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian (6t' PM) in Saline County, Kansas
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of said Section 31,
Thence on an assumed bearing of North 89° 33' 04" East on the South line of the
Southwest'/4 of said Section 31, a distance of 60.01 feet,
Thence North 00°31'51" East on a line parallel to the West line of the Southwest 1/4
of said Section 31, a distance of 2653.31 feet to a point 60.00 feet East of the West 1/4
corner of said Section 31, said point being on the South line of the Northwest '/4 of
said Section 31,
Thence North 00°02'08" West on a line parallel to the West line of the Northwest '/4
of said Section 31, a distance of 1172.20 feet to a point, said point being 150.00 feet
South of the South line of the North '/z of the Northwest'/4 of said Section 31,
Thence South 89'18'28" West on a line parallel to the South line of said North '/2, a
distance of 60.00 feet to a point on the West line of said Northwest 1/4,
Thence South 00°02'08" East on the West line of said Northwest '/4, a distance of
1171.81 feet to the West'/4 corner of said Section 31,
Thence South 00°31'51" West on the West line of said Southwest '/4, a distance of
2653.44 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Said tract contains .52 acres more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to
12-526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
