A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN FOCUS GROUP COMMITTEES.
WHEREAS, Gould Evans Associates is currently conducting the City of Salina's
w Comprehensive Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, Gould Evans Associates recommended the creation of eight focus groups
consisting of members from the public to assist the consultants and to allow a greater depth of
discussions and help shape the future of the community; and
WHEREAS, the focus groups will be comprised of a cross section of citizens, business
owners, property owners, institutional representatives, city leaders, activists and stakeholders; and
WHEREAS, Section 2(c) of Resolution Number 90-4242 calls for Citizen Board
member appointments to be made by resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City Commission
for final approval. SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section I. The following people, as proposed by the Mayor of the City of Salina, are
hereby appointed to the following Comprehensive Plan Focus Group Committees:
