ORDINANCE NUMBER 08-10440
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 41, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 41-95 OF
THE SALINA CODE PERTAINING TO CORRECTIONS AND REFUNDS FOR WATER
AND SEWER SERVICES AND REPEALING EXISTING SECTION 41-95.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the city of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 41-95 of Chapter 41, Article IV of the Salina Code is hereby
amended and reads as follows:
"Sec. 41-95. Corrections and refunds.
In relation to bills and charges for water and sewer service, the city manager shall
have the authority to:
(a) make corrections;
(b) , refund overpayments;
(e) assess corrective charges; or
(d) make reasonable arrangements for payment of corrective charges;
in any circumstance in which it is deemed to be in the city's best interest."
Section 2. That the existing Section 41-95 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
