AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE I, DIVISION 1 OF THE SALINA
CODE BY ADDING SECTION 8-12.4.1 PROVIDING FOR A LOCAL AMENDMENT TO
SECTION 412.2.3 OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE PERTAINING TO

FLOOR SURFACES IN AIRCRAFT HANGERS.
w BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the city of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the Salina Code is hereby amended by adding a section to be numbered 8-
155, which section reads as follows:
"Sec. 8-12.4.1. Amendment to Section 412.2.3 of the International Building Code.
[Section 412.2.3 of the International Building Code is hereby amended to read as follows:]
412.2.3 Floor surface. Floor surfaces accessible to aircraft shall be of concrete or similar
noncombustible and nonabsorbent materials. If floor drains are provided they shall
discharge through an approved oil separator to the sewer or to an outside vented sump."
Section 2. That Section 8-12.4.1 is hereby added.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
