SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
September 11, 2007

The Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners was called to order at 5:00 p.m. in Room 105, City-
w
County Building.
There were present:

Greg Bengtson, City Attorney (arrived late)
Jared Johnson, Attorney, Clark, Mize & Linville Chrtd.
Penny Day, Deputy City Clerk
Absent: None
(3) Request for executive session (legal).
07-7237 Moved by Commissioner Peck, seconded by Commissioner Perney, to recess into executive
session for 45 minutes to discuss with the City Attorney matters which are subject to the attorney-client
privilege for the reason that public discussion of those matters would waive that privilege and adversely
affect the City's interest in the matters and reconvene at 5:50 p.m. Aye: (5). Nay: (0). Motion carried.
The City Commission recessed into executive session at 5:05 p.m. and reconvened at 5:50 p.m.

executive session for an additional 30 minutes and reconvene at 6:20 p.m. Aye: (5). Nay: (0). Motion
carried.
The City Commission recessed into executive session at 5:50 p.m. and reconvened at 6:23 p.m

executive session for an additional 10 minutes and reconvene at 6:33 p.m. Aye: (5). Nay: (0). Motion
carried.
The City Commission recessed into executive session at 6:23 p.m. and reconvened at 6:37 p.m.

We, the undersigned, being duly elected, qualified and acting City Commissioners of the
City of Salina, Kansas, and constituting a majority of the Board of Commissioners of the City of
W Salina, Kansas, do hereby waive notice and consent to the holding of a special meeting of the Board
of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, on the l lth day of September, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. in
Room 105 at the City -County Building for:
