An ordinance providing for the issue of paving and curbing
improvemait bondwof the City of Salina, Kansas, in the sum of

WHEREAS, the %yor and Council of said City have caused to be
paved and curbed, Tenth Street between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street,
in said City,Vhe'cbVAact prite being $5406.66, of which said amount
a be -on paid in cash; therefore
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the Cit7 of
Salina:
Sec V 1 That the balance of the cost of said paving and curbing shall
be paid in ten installments, instead of levying the entire tax for
such cust at one time, the first installment to be paid with the
taxes for the year 1906, and one installment with the taxes of each
succeeding yeank until the whole are paid, and that for such Linstall-

Seci 2.-Sald-iesue ofbandsshall codSiet of-anO bOld-of and
,nine bonds of the denomination of Four Hundred Dollars each, and shall
be dated June 1906, and shall be due and payable in ten annual
installments =on June Q. of each year, beginning with June 00h.,
1907.
Sen. 3. Said bonds shall bear interest at the rate of 50' per annuo"i from
their date, payable semi-annually on jhp 4th days of June and December
in each yea h-4nd the several inatallments of interest shall be pX±d
bV coupons attached to said> bonds, and bothprincipaland
interest shall be payable at the Fiscal -Agency of the State of Kansas,
Sec. 4. Said bonds sha'lle 56 signed bar the 2',Tayor and counter eigned by the
Clerk of said City, and have affixed thereto thB,corporate eael'of sal
and said it coupons shall be.signed by taid Clerk.
Sec, 5. The Mayor and Clerk of said City are hereby authorized and
directed, a" soon as practible, to prepare and execute 6uch bonds
too in pledging the credit of the City for the payment thereof, and
