An ordinance relating to the speed of riding and driving
horses, teams, vehicles, upon and across sidewalks in entering or
__�ex�erging from alleys in the city of Rali,n at-
-kro-providing a
penalty therefor.
Be it ordained by the mayor and councilmen of the City of
Salina:
Section 1. That whosoever, in the city of Salina, in entering or emerg-
-ing from any alley, or driving upon or across any sidewalk at the
entrance or exit of any alley, shall ride or drive any horse, team,
mule, or other beast, or propel any vehicle, at a greater rate of
speed than an ordinary walk, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction thereof, before the police court of said city,
shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $50-sOO.-
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and -be in force from and
after its publication once in the Salina Daily Journal.
