1284 Street Improvements Tenth Street'ORDINANCE Vo.
An ordance 7!r0Vidj-n9 for the paving and curbing of the
center 30 feet of Tenth street bet rye the solath side of
Iron Averue and the north side of Walnut street, in the
city of Salina Kansas,
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the
III City of Salina.
Sect. 1 That the ceniteT 30 feet of all that portion
of Tenth street between the south side of Iron Avenue and the
north side of 17alnut street in the, City of Salina, be paved
of brick -with stone curb in the, manner and of the *,material
specified in the plans and specifications therefor of the
City Engineer dated September 25th, 1905 now on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
Sect. 2 That the cost of said -VI-ork and improxement
shal! be assessed for each block -separately on all lots and
pieces of ground to the center of the block on either side of
said Tenth street, the distance to be paved and curbed as
aforesaidaccording to the assessed value of such lots a,A,,.d pieces
of ground without regard to the buildings or improvements
thereon.
Sect 3 That E.L. Wilder, P.C. York and C.L. Wight
are hereby appointed appraisers and such appraisers are required
,?.rith-,I.n ten days from the publication.of this ordinance to take
and subscribe an oath before some person. authorized by law to
ad -minister oaths, to make a true and impartial
without regard to the buildings" or improvements thereon and for
each block separate-lylall lots arc} -pieces of ground to the center
of the block on either side of said Tenth street between the
south side of Iron Avenue and the north side of Walnut Street,
and thereupon to proceed to truly and impartially ap-l"ra"ise such
lots an. eces of ground to the center of each bloeX,and
return such upraisemant to the city council at its first

insiruoted and required without delay to make and subilit
