An ordinance providing for the construction of certain sidewalk in the city
of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordaln4by the -Mayor and Counciim'en- of the city of Sali-na:

are hereby required to construct or cause to be constructed, on or before

tion$ in the. manner and of the -material and width specified and re-
quired by the pmvisions of Ordinance No. 1038 of .the printed ted ordinances
of said ci-".1v W Salina, which said ordinance No. 1038 is hereby incorpor-
ated in and made a part of this ordinance.
Sec. 2. That the committee on sidewalks of the city council

refuse to build the same as provided herein, and shall. report their pro-
ceedings, together with the length and dimensions of the walic so constructed
by said committee a the actual expense thereof to the city- council.
Sec. 3. The expense. of cons truc 'LA"Ing said walk by said coramittee
shall be assessed xgxix against the real estate abutting thereon, accord-
ing to the front foot thereof, and collected as other taxes against such
real estate are collected.
See. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication once the Salina Evening Journal.
