An ordinance providing for the construction of certain sidewalks in the
city, of Salina, Kansas.
Be it, ordained by the 'Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina.

Section 1. That the owner or ovmers of an.
abutting on the north side of Mulberry street from. the alleyL betifeen
Fourth and Fifth streets_ -last tothe east side of Second street, �%nd

the o,ners of Lots numbered 119, 121$ 123, 125,1 127; 129, 1.31, 133,
135 and 137 on Fourth street; Lots numbered 9, 11, 13, 15, 17
and 19
o-,, Universitt, Place, in University addition:, and of Lots 17, 18, 19,
201 21) 22 and 23 on Walnut street in University addition, all in the
city of Salina, are hereby required to construct or cause to be con-
structed, on or before, the 20tt day, fif April, 1905, a sidev.alk in front,
of and adjacent to all the lots and pieces of ground above described, irt
the manner, and of the material and width required by the provisions of
0rdinand6t-,No. 1.038 of the printed ordinances of the city of Salina.
'Sec. 2. The committee on sidealks of the city council shall
as soon as practicable after the said 20th -day of April, 1905, cause
such sides-,ialk provided for in section one hereof to be constructed in
of the property and on the streets above defined whose, owners f�ftl

or refuse to constructq( the sar-ieas required by this ordinance, and shall

report its proceedings, together with the length and cost of the v lk
so constructed by said committee to the city council..
Sec. 3. The expense of building such sidealfalk by said com-
mi.,t'tee sl.-Lall 'he assessed against the real estate ab�7tting t he re o n
and collected as other taxes against such real estate.
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
