An ordinance providing for the construction of server, ir__ the city; of
Salina;' Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Tilayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That'the following described lateral sewers be built
in the city of Salina, to -wit:
A twelve (12) inch sewer beginning at the corner - of Baker street and
f� Iron avenue and running vest on said Iron avenue to the center of College
avenue;
A fifteen (15.) inch sewer beginning at and connecting with the main

sewer atthe corner of Ash.and Thirteenth streets and running west on said
Ash street to the center of College avenue;
A twelve (12) inch sewer running from the.center of Front street on
Iron avenue mast to Third street.
S•ee-. 2. That a contract for the building and construction of

Kansas at and for the rice or rices named in its proposal dated A
10, 1904, and on file with the city clerk, and .which. said proposal i
—hereby incorporated in and made a part of this ordinance.
l - Sec. 3, That such sewer shall be built: and constr-cuted in full
and complete accordance with the plans and specifications therefor of the
city engineer of said city now on file with the city clerk, and such plans
and specifications are.hereby incorporated in and made a part of this
f ordinance.

Sec . 4. The city attorney is hereby directed to prepare a, con-
tract with said Salina Plumbing Company for the construction of said
sewer, in accordance with the city engineer's plans and specifications
therefor, the advertisement, forbids and proposal of said contractors and
the same shall be executed by the mayor and city clerk oh behalf of
said city.
Sec. 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
-after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
