An ordinance granting to The Shellabarger-Mill & Elevator Company the:
right to malka±xx erect and maintain poles and electric wires
over and upon certain streets in the city of Salina,
Kansas.`
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That The Shellabarger IvLill & Elevator Company, its
successors and as'sigrks, shall have the right., subject to the conditions
and restrictions hereinafter set forth, to erect and maintain poles ar
posts and carry there -on insulated wires for the purpose of carrying and
transmitting electrical currents, said poles to run from the mill ground
of such grantee= located west of Santa Fe. avenue and south of the right of
way of the Union Pacific railroad, in the, city of Salina, Kansas,' thence

stree4, thence south on said to the building known as^11D Elevator"
belonging to said Shellabarger Mill & Elevator Co., located on said i
between Ash streitt and Iron avenue.
Sec. 2. Such .posts shall be set at .points to 1)6 designated by
the city engineer and upon the outer edge of all streets��gs over:
which they shall run, and the wires thereon shall not be less than twenty
(20) feet from the ground�_at any point.
Sec. 3. The rights.and privileges herein granted shall exist and
