1182 Sidewalk Improvments Park Street(Published in the Saline. Evening Journal, Apr ; ) 1903 ) ORDINANCE No. 1182. An ordinance providing for the construction of certain sidewalk in the city of Salina, Kansas. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That the owner or owners of any and all real estate abutting on the south side of Park street from Tenth street west to the fvfA� west side of Twelfth street; on the east side4.of Twelfth street from Park street to Ash street; on V.(the east,side-v-o Second street from Pine street north to the tracks of the -Chicago, Rock -Island & Pacific Railway Co.; on the east side of Eleventh street beginning at its j -unction with South strree:t and running south along said east side of Eleventh street to Morrison avenue;. on the north side of Spruce street from the west end of said street east., to the east side of College avenue, and on the east side of College avenue from Spruce street_ north to the south line of Iron avenue, all in Saline,, Kansas, are hereby required to construct, or - cause to be constructed, on.or before the 18th day of Mty, 1903, a side- walk in r•oiit of, along and adjacent to all the lots and parts of lots abutting on^such streets above described and designated, in the manner - and of the material and width specified and required by the provisions of.Ordinance No. 1038 of the printed ordinances of said city of Salina, which said ordinance No. 1038 is hereby incorporated in and made a part of -this ordinance. Sec. 2. That the. Committee on Sidewalks of the cite council shall, as soon as -practicable 'after the said 18th day of "IqTay, 1903, cause such sidewalk to be constructed in front of, along and adjacent to all the lots and parts of lots abutting on the Astreets described in section one hereof vfaose oirmers :have not complied with the foregoing provisions �md requirements, and shall report their proceedings, togethero with the length and dissensions o.f the walk so constructed by said committee, and the actual expense thereof, to the city -council. Sec. 3. The expense of constructing said walk by said committee shall be assessed against the real estate abutting thereon, according to '-, the front foot thereof, and colledted.as other taxes ai�ainst such real estate.
