1170 Sidewalk ImprovementsORD INAI`TCE NO . W, An ordinance providing for the c ondernnat ior_, removal, reconstruction and repairing of certain side�,ialks in the Citic of Salina,Kansas . Be it ordained by the hTayor and Councilmen of the: City of Salina: Sect ion 1. That each and all of the following deth ibed s ideizralks and parts of sidewalk in the city of .Salina, to -wit: tlih walk in front of lots R*x numbered'9, 11, 13, 15 and 17, on Fifth street, lots numbered 16 and 18 on Santa Fe avenue; lots numbered 1, 31 5, 7, 912 111 13, 15, 17, 19 and 41 on Seventh street; lots numbered. 10, 12 and 14 on Fighth street; the walk on the west side: of lot numbered 15 on. Pine street; the walk in front of lots numbered 2 and 3 on Iron avenue in Geis' addition; lot numbered 4 in block 6., on Iron avenue, Oakdale addition, and lots numbered 4 and 6 on Tenth street, Seitz's addition; the vralk on the north side of lot numbered 54 on First street, and all the walk in front of 1orrison's Reserve, on Ninth street, in 11orrison's Third -addition, be, and such 1,valk is® hereby condermecl as worn out, worthless and unfit for repair, and that said walks be. removed, rebuilt and reconstructed as provided by this ordinance. Sec. 2. That all of the stone sidewalk in front of lots numbered 1641 166 and '168 .on Santa Fe avenue, lots numbered 84, 86, and 88 on Eighth street, in front of Added TerritoryNo . 5, A, and Added Terri- tory No. 5, C, Santa Fe avenue, be, and the same isohere:by condemned as out of repair and unfit for use by the general public, and that such walk be repaired as provided in this ordinance. Sec. 3. That the owner or owners of eachp►the several lots and parts of lots mentioned and described in section one of this ordinance be A are here, -by required _ rebuild and reconstruct the in tie i-nanner��nd of the material specified in this ordinance on or before the�iSd day of _ fns_ ,1903- 'Sec. 1903. Sec. 4. Sec . 7 . The expense of removing and rebuilding such walks as are described in section one of this ordinance x± and of repairing, leveling up and making good such stone walks as are mentioned and described in. section two hereof, by said Committee on Sidewalks, shall be assessed against the real estate abutting thereon, and collected as other-taxes against said real estate.
