1160 Improve Alley Santa Fe Avenuect
ORDIRATTCF NO. 1160.
An ordinance providing for the curbing and paving of the alleys between
Santa Fe avenue and Fifth street and between Santa Fe avenue
and Seventh streea, from Iron avenue to Ash street, in the
city of Salina, Kansas
-Be it ordained bar the Mayor and Councilmen' of the Clty of Salina:
Section 1. That•the city council be and it is hereby authorized
and directed to causei the alley between Santa Fe avenue and Fifth street,
from Iron avenue.,to Ash street, and the alley. between Santa Fe avenue and
Seventh street, from Iron.avenue.to Ash street, to be curbed and paved as
specified. and required in section two of this ordinance.
tSec. 2. That the curbing and paving herein provided for shall
be done in strict accordance and compliance with the original plans and
specifications therefor :Wade by the cit;,r engineer of 'said city and now
on file with the citir clerk.
Sec. 3 That a contract for.• sucl1 ,curbing and paring be and' is
hereby let to.C. T. Snyder, of'Salina, Kansas,'at and for.the price or
prices named in. his prvoposa1 ;now on file with said. city clerk.
Sec. 4. That the Malror and Clrk of said city are hereby author-
ized and directed, as soon as practicable., to execute a contract for and on
behalf of the said city of Salina, to and with the. said C. T. Snyder., for
the performance of the work embraced in this ordinance, and in compliance
with the advertisment by said city for bids for such work and the proposal
of said C. T. Snyder, all on file with said clerk.
Sec. 5. That this ordinance. shall .take e:-''fect and be if force
from. and after - its publication once in -the Saline: Daily Republican -Journal.
