ORDINANCE, NO. Q��Q
An Ordinance providing for the Construction of Sewers in the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the Mayor and Council of the City of Salina,
Kansas, are hereby authorized and empowered to construct, or cause to be
constructed, within said city of Salina, lateral and drainage sewers,
a's follows, to -wit:
A lateral sewer, to begin at the man -hole in the main sewer on
Ash street, about tvitrenty feet east of the center of the alley between
Fourth and Fifth streets, a.nd run north on said alley_ -to the center of

_XXM street, a distance of.,eight hundred thirty.(830) feet:, and shall
have a clear diameter of 24 inches.
A lateral sewer, beginning at and connecting with the terminus of
the above sewer on Elm street, running north on the alley.between Fourth
and Fifth'streets to the center,of North street, and thence; west on North
® street to the west -side of Ninth street, a distance of about toter thousand
Eight hundred seventy (28700 feet, and shall have a clear diameter of 21
inches.
A lateral sewer on the alley between Fifth street and Santa Fe
Ell
avenue, commencing at the north side of Walnut street and e-xtending south
to the center' of Soizth street, a distance of fourteen hundred fifty (1450)
feet, with e clear diameter of 12., ir_ches,
A lateral sewer on the alley between Santa Fe avenue and Seventh,,•
street, commencing at the north side of Walnut street and extending south
to the center of South street, a distance of fourteen hundred fifty (1450)
fe6t, with a clear diameter- of 12 inches.
