ORDINANCE NO*
An Ordinance providing for the salary•'of the police judge and relating to
fines And cost$ in the police court,, and repealing Ordinance
No. 909.
and �Councilmen of the City of Salinas,
Section 1. That the salary of the police judge of the city of
Salina,. Kansas, shall be twenty-five dollars per month, to be paid as
other claims against said city, and; in addition thereto, the police judge
shall be entitled to the sum of threedollars in each case in.said police
court -in which there is a conviction., such three dollars to be paid as
provided in section 2 of this ordinance.
Sec. 2. That the police judge shall tax as costs in all cases in
the police court in which there is a conviction the sum of three dollars
as fees, for the police.judge and the sum of three dollars as fees for the
city attorney; provided, htiwever', that... -the -said city shall in no event be _
liable for - the payment of the fees so taxed up for said police, judge and
said city attorney, and said officers shall --only be entitled to fees
provided for in this section in,thetcases•'where such costs are collected
from the defendants.
Sec. 3. That Ordinance No.""909 of the printed ordinances of the
city of -Salina, Kansas, be and the''.same is hereby repealed.
Sec. 4. That this ordinvtncte shall take•e�'fect and be in force
