An Ordinance creating and opening an alley through Derrington's,-�nd
Sweeney's Additions, from .Eleventh.. street Brest to'- the west Line of >..
Sweeney's.addition,.in the city of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen. of the.City of Salina:
Section 1. That an alley, fifteen (15) feet wide:, be and the same
is hereby created and opendd between -State street and Iron avenue, iU'
Sweeney's and Derrington's additions to the city of Salina, ` Kansas , from
Eleventh street west to the west side of Sweeney's addition.
Sec. 2. That a strip of ground f if. teen . (15) feet vride the northern
line or boundary .of which shall commence at a,point, on said Eleventh
street, one hundred forty-eight and 610 (148.6) feet south of the north-
east corner of lot numbered 6,. in Derriiigton's addition, running thence
west to a point on'the western edge of Sweeney's addition one hundred
forty-eight, and 5/100 (148.05) feet south of the northwest corner of lot
numbered 6, in 'Sweeney's addition, be and the same is hereb�� taken pos-
sessionof and appropriated by said city of Salina for a public alley,
as herein contemplated, and the former owners are hereby required to
removetherefrom any fence, building or other obstruction -forthwith, as
required by law:
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publica ion once in the Salina Daily Republican -Journal.
