Be, it ordained by t•he I€ayor. and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That, Section 1 of Ordinance No..1085, entitled "An
Ordinance providing for the condemnation, removal and rye -construction of
certain sidewralks in the citir of Salina., Kansas," be amended so as to
read as follows:
. That each -and a11.of the following described side-
walks, and piees and parts of sidewalks, in the cite of. Salina, Kansas,
to -wit: the sidewalk in front of and adjacent to lots numbered 19, 40,
21, 22, 23 and 24, on Ash street, in University addition to said city;
the walk on the nort�.h 'adder. 6f1Zot nivabered 109' on Third street, in said
city; the walk *on the'hort•h sides of lots numbered 109 and 110 on Second
strut; the walk on t•hep( 6outh side of 16t nwabered 138 on Fourth streeti
the walk in front of and adjacent to lots numbered 140, 142, 144, 14:6,
148 and 154 on Fourth street; the, walk on the.west-side of lot. numbered
1 on; -North street; the walk on the west' side of lot numbered 15, on Pine'
street; thewalk on the west end'of lots nu#ibered 6, 81 10, 12 and 14' on
Eighth street; the walk on the west side of lot numbered 23, in block 3,
on North street, in Depot addition; the walk in front of and adjacent to
lots niunbered 17, 18, 190 20, 210 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28,29, 30, 31,
32, 33 and 34, on Ninth -street, in.. Block• 3, Depot addition to said city;
the thwalk in front' of and adjacent to lots- n_uabered 1, 21 31 4.1 5) 61 71
8, 9 and 10, in Block 2, Calkin's addition to said city; the iralk on the c:
west side of lot, numbered 1, on Iron .aven_ue, in Phillips' addition to
said city; the: walk on` the west end of lots numbered_ 5, 6, 71 8 and 9,
on Ninth street, in Phillips' addition to said city, and the walk adjacent
to -the, west 135 feet on.. the south side of lot numbered 10 on Tenth street,
between Ninth aild Tenth streets, in Phillips' addition_ to said city of
Salina, be -and the same, are herebi► condemned •as worn out, worthless and
unfit for repair, and that said walks and each of them be removed, re-
built.and re -constructed as provided and required by this ordinance.
Sec. 2. That sect6on 1 of Ordinance No. 1085, of which this or-
dinance is -amendatory, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Sec 3. That this ordinance shall: take effect -and reg, Jn force
Brom and after its publication once in the Salina Daily Republican -Journal.
