it ordained by the
Mayor and Councilmen
of the C it y of
S&ina:
Section 1. That.the sum of Nine hundred and fifteen (915� Dol -
lays be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the hands
of the city treasurer for the payment of the following claim:
To the Fire Extinguisher Manufacturing Co., of --Chicago, Ill,
for one No. 5 two wheeled Champion Chemival.Engine, as per
verified claim of said company dates. ,Aug. 8, 1901, and on file
with the city clerk, ---------------------------------------=915.00
Sec. 2. That three pieces of scrip for such amount , in the re-
spective sums of $315.00, $300.00 and $300.00; -bearing date of August
5, 2.9 01, and maturing respectively on or before January 20, 1902, Jan-
uary 20, 1903 and January 20, 1904, and bearing interest from suc�date
at- the rate of six per cent per ea num, be drawn on --the city treasurer for
the payment of said claim
Sec. 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after it s�;cassage .
