An Ordinance providing for the extension and construction of sewer in
the City of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of. Salina:
Section 1. That the 11ayor and Council of the City of Salina,
Kansas are hereby authorized and empowered to extend and construct or-,
cause to be extended and constructed the main sewer, located on West
Ash street, from its present terminus at Eleventh street west to- the
wrest line of Thirteenth street, i.n said city, in the manner andorm,_-
and of the material specified and required in the plans and., sp, '1.0'a
tions of the city engineer of said city now on file in the office of the,
city clerk of said city.
Sec . 2. That the Xayor and Council are hereby authorized and
empowered to contract for the extension and construction of said .sewer
with the Salina Plumbing Company, of said city, according to -and for
the price or prices named in Ithe proposal of said company now on f
in the -office of the city clerk_ of Salina.

Sec. 3. That the city attorney be instructed to prepare a .cone
tract for the extension and construction of said sewer with said Salina
Plumbing Company in accordance -,'with sections one and two of this.. ordi-
nance .
Sec 4. That this ordinance, shall take. effect and be in force
from •;d after its publication once in the "Salina 'Daily Republican -
