BE IT ORDAI17ED by the Layor and CounciLnen of the City of Salina,Kan-
s-as :
SECTIO?:v I.That the
Mayor of the City
of
Salina
be,and lie is,hereby au-
thorized
and directed,for
and
in the
name of,and for the use
of said city,to purchase the lard situate in Saline County,
in the State of Kansas, -and knoi and described as Lot No.Sev-
enty seven(77)on Santa Fe Avenue in the City of Salina,to-
gether with the buildings and appurtenances thereunto belong-
ing, Provided,that the said prcr_iises can be purchased for
not e ceedin the sum of $6500.00.
SECTION 2.That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the city
treasury the sum -of $6500.00,or such part thereof as may be
required,to pay for the lands and tenements described in sec-
tion one;and tl�-at the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby
authorized to dram a =Tarrant on the treasurer therefor,and
to pay the same to the proper party,on delivery to the City,
Clerk off Z=40y-D�eedconveying to said city,the lands
