I� 11 1 An ordinance preventing the carriage and transportation of intoxi- cating liquors, over.and upon the public streets, avenues and- alleys ndalleys of the City of Salina, and prescribing penalties there- for. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. Be it ordained that it is unlawful for any person, individual, company or corporation to transport or carry any spir- ituous, vinous, fermented or malt liquor, or any imitation thereof, upon the public streets, avenues and alleys of said City of Salina, or to haul the same upon said streets, avenues and alleys. Seca 2. Any person found guilty of a violation of this ord- inance shall be fined in any sum not exceeding One Hundred Dollars (100.00), or imprisonment for not more than sixty {60) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Sec. 3. Nothing herein contained shall in any manner inter- fere with inter -state commerce orders, made in good faith, and ship- ments from a foreign state. Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal. Passed and approved, September 6th, 1915. {SEAL) Attest: Chas. 8.
