An ordinance levying special assessments against the property herein
described to pay the cost of constructing certain sidewalks in
the City of Salina.
Be ' it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
.Section 1. That there be and is•hereby levied and assessed a-
gainst each of the lots and parts of lots hereinafter described a spe-
cial tax or assessment for the purpose of paying the cost of construct

Ing certain sidewalks abutting said property -by the city of Salina, Kan-
Sec. 2 That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed and
authorized to immediately certify the assessments made in Section one
of this ordinance to the county clerk of Saline county, Kansas, to be
placed upon the tax rolls for collection subject to the same.penalties
and collected in like manner as other taxes.
Sec -0-3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication once in the -Salina Evening -Journal.
Passed and approved August, 16, 1915.
