ORDINANCE NO • 1862.
(Published in the Salina Evening Journal July 9 1915.)
An ordinance -defining a certain misdemeanor and providing for the pun-
ishment of the same.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any procurer or procurers,
pimp or male person to in any manner solicit business or trade for any

prostitute or lewd woman or other woman for the purpose of illicit sexu-
al intercourse.
Sec. 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ord-
inance shall be fined in any sum not ldss than Twenty-five Dollars,
($25.00) nor more.than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or by imprisonment
not less than thirty (30) days nor more than ninety (90) days, or by
both such fine and imprisonment.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication once in the Salina Evening•Journal.
