1861 Police Judge Salary30 ss- ORDINANCE N0. 1861 (Published in the Salina Evening -Journal July �l , 1915.) An ordinance providing for the salary of the Police Judge, and relating to fines and costs in the Police Court and repealing Ord- inance No. 1097. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That the salary of the Police Judge of the City of Salina, Kansas, shall be the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars, ($800.00) per annum, payable monthly, which shall be in full consideration for all of his services, such salary to be paid out of the General Fund of said City, as other claims are payable. Sec. 2. That the Police Judge shall tax as costs in all cases in the Police Court, in which there shall be a conviction, the sum of Three Dollars, ($3.00) as fees for the services of the Police Judge and the sum of Three Dollars, ($3.00) as fees for the services of the City At- torney; Provided, however, that all fees collected as above, shall be turned into the General Fund of said City, by the Police Judge, at the end of each month, together with sw�-orn statement as to the business and receipts of his office. See. 3. In . the event of a Justice of the Peace being called to act as Police Judge, the compensation of such Justice of the Peace shall be deducted from the salary of the Police Judge --but shall not exceed the salary of the Police Judge for such period. Sec. 4. That Ordinance No. 1097, passed and approved September 16, 1901, being an ordinance entitled, "An ordinance providing for the salary of the Police - Judge., and relating to fines and costs in the Police Court and repealing Ordinance No. 90911, be and.the same is hereby re- pealed. Sec. 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after July 15th, 1915, and its -publication once in The Salina Eve- ning Journal. Passed, July 6th, 1915. Approved July 19th. 1915.
