- ORDINANCE NO. 1858.
An ordinance making an appropriation for ,the payment of a certain
claim.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:

Section 1. That the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) and
interest at the rate of five per cent (5%) from August 17th, 1914, un-
til paidm be and the same is hereby approrpiated out of the City Treasury
to Otto Peterson, in full payment .to him of the balance due said Peter-
son from the city of Salina, for the building, construction and comple-
tion of the Ash Street sewer.
Sec. 2. Such sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) and interest,
shall be paid to the said Otto Peterson upon his furnishing a good and
sufficient bond to the City, to run ten (10) years, in such terms and
with such surety as shall be satisfactory to the Mayor and Councilmen.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage by the Council and its approval by the Mayor.
