Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any carnival company or amuse- ment company to operate or show in the City of Salina without first pay - to the City Clerk, the license tax hereinafter specified. See. 2. For the first day* s exhibition., the sum of Four Dollars ($4.00) for each and every railroad car or coach used in connection with the transportation thereof, and for each day's exhibition there- after the sum of Two Dollars., ($2.00),. for .each and every railroad car or coach used in the. t rans port at i on there of Sec. 3. PENALTY. Any person,. firm, or corporation, or the a- gent or employee of, any person,- firm. or, corporation-, violating any of the provisions .of.this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon c.onvictlon. thereof. shall be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred Dollars, ($100.00), or imprisonment in the Pity Jail not exceeding thirty .(30.). days., .
