ORDINANCE-- NO .- 1845. -

An ordinance fixing the compensation'of the city engineer, and
repealing Section four (4) of.Ordinance No. 768.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That section four of Ordinance No. 768, passed and
approved May 18, 18911, be and the same is hereby amended to reas as'
follows:
"Sec. 4. Such city engineer shall receive, as full compensation
for all of his services as such, a salary of one thousand dollars,
($1,000) per annum, payable monthly, as other claims against said City
are payable..'
See. 2. Section four (4.) of Ordinance No. 768, passed and ap-
proved May 18, 1891, is hereby repealed.
See. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and. be in force, from
and after its publication once in the official city paper.

An ordinance fixing the , comensation of the city engineer, and repealing
section 4 of Ordinance No. 768.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That section four of Ordinance No. 768, passed and
approved May 18., 1.8911 be and the same is hereby amended to read as
