An ordinance authorizing the mayor and clerk of the City of Salina
to exeeute a deed to the Missouri Pacific Railway Company for the real
estate and for the pdrposes hereinafter desetibed and set forth..
WHEREAS, under the terms of Ordinances numbered 1768 and -1769, of
the City of Salina, Kansas, passed and approved June 1, 1914, it was
provided that the said city of Salina should deed to the Missouri Pacific
Railway Company certain real estate., in said ordinances described and
hereinafter described, for the purposes and upon the consideration in
said Ordinances numbered 1768 and 1769 described, which said ordinances
last named are hereby specially referred to and made a part of this
ordinance) now therefore:
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the Mayor of the city of Salina, Kansas, is here-
by authorized to execute on behalf of said city, and the city clerk is
hereby authorized to attest, and. attach the corporate seal of said city,
on behalf of said city. a quit claim deed, conveying, by release and
quit claim, the following described real estate in the city of Salina
to.the said The Missouri Pacific Railway Company, viz:- .
Beginning at the point of intersection of the east line of Four-
teenth (Phillips) Street, City of Salina, Kansas, with the northerly line
of the original right of way of The Missouri Pacific Railway Company;
thence in a northeasterly direction along said line of right of way to
the west line of Thirteenth Street; thence due north along said line of
Thirteenth Street, fourteen and three -tenths (14.3) feet to a point;
thence in a southwesterly direction (on a curve with a radius of three
thousand, seven hundred eighty --two (33,782) feet, three hundred thirty -
four and eight -tenths (334.8) feet to the east line of Fourteenth (Phil-
lips) Street; thence due south along said east line of said street twen-
ty-four (24) feet to the place of beginning. Also, commencing at _ a
point where the south line of the right of way of The Atchison,, -Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway --intersects the west line of Phillips or Fourteenth
Street in Weaver's Second Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas; thence
in a southwesterly direction along the south line of the --said right of
way to the east line of College avenue or Fifteenth.street in said Weav*
er's Second Addition; thence south to, the north -line of the present right
of way of the Missouri Pacific Railway;.'thence in a northeasterly di-
rection along the north line of said right to the west line_ of Phillips
or Fourteenth Street; thence north along the west line of said Phillips
or Fourteenth Street to the place of beginning; said described tract
being that part of Lots Ten (10), Twelve (12) and Fourteen (14) on Phil-
lips or Fourteenth Street, Weaver's Second Addition, lying south of the
right of way of The Atchison. Topeka and Santa Fe. Railway and north of
the present right of way of The Missouri Pacific Railway Company, and
that part of lots Five (5), Seven (7) Nine (9) and Eleven (11) on Col-
lege avenue or Fifteenth Street, Weaver's Second Addition, lying south
of The Atchison, Topeaka and Santa Fe Railway right of way and north of
the present right of way of the Missouri Pacific Railway.
Also an undivided.one-half interest in the follwoing described real
estate, to -wit:- Beginning at a point in the east line of Fourteenth
(Phillips) Street; City of Salina, Kansas, said point being twenty9four
(24) -feet north of the Intersection -of the east line of Fourteenth_ (Phil-
lips) Street with the original northerly line of the right of way of the
Missouri Pacific Railway Company; thence in a northeasterly direction,
(on a curve with a radius of three thousand seven hundred eighty-two
(3,782) feet, three hundred thirty-four and eight -tenths (334.8) feet
to a point in the west line of Thirteenth Street, said point being fourt-
een and three -tenths (14.3) feet due -north of the northerly line of said
original right of way; thence north along said west line of Thirteenth
Street three and five -tenths (3.5) feet; thence in a southwesterly di-
rection (on a curve with a radius of two thousand eight hundred thirty
(2,830) feet, three hundred thirty-four and three -tenths -(334.3) feet
to the east line of Fourteenth (Phillips) Street; thence south along the
• east line of said street sic and nine -tenths (6.9) feet to the place of
beginning.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
