1814 Transfer Real EstateI I PA ORDINANCE, NO. 1814 (Published in the Salina'Evening Journal., January V 1915) An ordinance authorizing the mayor and'elerk of the City of Salina to execute a deed to The Chicago, Rock -Island and Pacific Railway Com- pany for the real estate and for the purposes hereinafter descritred and set forth. WHEREAS, under the terms of Ordinance No'. 1769, of the City of Salina, Kansas, passed and approved June 1, 19140 it was provided that the City of Salina should deed to the Chicago., Rock -Island and Pacific Railway Company an. -undivided one-half interest in certain real estate, in said ordinance and this ordinance described, for the purpose and upon the consideration in said Ordinance'No. 1719 set forth, which said last numbered ordinance is hereby specially referred to and made a part of this ordinance; Therefore; Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That the Mayor of the,City of Salina, Kansas, is here- by authorized to execute on behalf.of said city, and the city clerk is hereby authorized to. attest, and attach. the corporate seal of said city, on behalf of said city, a quit claim deed, :conveying by release and quit claim, the undivided one-half interest in and to the following described real estate in said city to the said The Chicago,' Rock -Island and Pacif- ic Railway Company, viz: and correct copy of an ordinance passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor of -.the City of Salina, January 18th, 1915; and a record of the vote on its final adoption is found - on page/D0 of Journal No 8. City Clerk. An undivided one-half interest in that certain tract or parcel of land situate in said city and 'described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at a point in the east line of Fourteenth (Phillips) Street, City of ,Salina, Saline. county, Kansas,. said point being twenty-four (24) feet - north of the Intersection of the east line of Fourteenth (Phillips) Street with the original northerly line of the right of way of the Mis- Souri Pacif Railway Company; thence in a ,northeasterly direction (on a curve with a radius of three thousand, seven Hundred eighty-two (3,782) feet, three hundred' thirty-four and eight -tenths (334.8) feet to a point in the west line of Thirteenth Street, said point being fourteen and three -tenths (14.3) feet due north of the northerly line of said orginal - right of way; thence north along said west line of said Thirteenth Street three and five -tenths (3.5) feetl thence in a southwesterly direction (on a curve with a radius of two thousand eighthundred thirty feet, (2,830) three hundred thirty-four and three -tenths (334.3) feet to the east line of Fourteenth Street, (Phillips; thence south along the east line of said street six and nine -tenths (6.9) feet to the place of be- ginning.
