1811 Special Assessments200 ORDINANCE NO. 1811 (Published in the Salina Evening Journal, December mac: 1914) An ordinance re -assessing and re -levying the cost of paving, curbing, guttering and excavating the block on Walnut Street between the east line of Second street and the west end of the Walnut street bridge crossing the Smoky Hill river on said street; and repealing Section Five (5) of Ordinance No. 1800, passed and approved Novenber 16th, 1914. B it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That section five (5) of Ordinance No. 1800, passed and approved November 16, 1914, be and the same is hereby repealed. Sec. 3. Said amounts re -levied, re"apportioned ans re -asses ed as aforesaid shall be due and collectible in ten equal annual in tall - N ments, the first becoming due with the taxes levied for the ye r 1915, and one of said installments falling due each and every yearhereafter until all are paid, and all to be collected with interest in this ordinance provided; Provided, that the owner of any piece of property liable for any such special qLssessment may redeen his p operty from such liability by paying into the city treasury the a tire amount chargeable against the same Within thirty days afte the publication of this ordinance, and his p�operty so paid on sh 1 not thereafter be liable for the cost of such improvements afore$ d.
