1764 Improve Walnut StreetI IPA Y 93 L� 1 1 -ORDINANCE_ ..-NO.. - 1764. - (Published in the Salina Evening Journal May.ign. 1914.1 = An ordinance amending sections one and two of Ordinance No. 1750 and repealing such sections so amended. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. That section One (1) of Ordinance No. 1750, passed and approved March 2, 19143, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows, that is to say: "Sectional. That it is necessary and hereby ordered that Walnut street, in the city of Salina, between the East . side of Fifth street and the West side of the present Walnut street bridge, be paved with such material as shall have been selected, said paving to forty (40) feet in width, from gutter to gutter, except that at the intersections of streets and alleys such pavement shall extend to the lot line.of said Walnut Street." Sec. 2. That section Two,(2) of said Ordinance No. 1750 be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows, that is to say: "Sec. 2. That it is necessary and hereby ordered that Walnut street, between the limits defined in section one hereof, be curbed on both sides thereof with cement curb and gutter,.said curb to be about sig inches in thickness and such gutter to be twenty-four (24) inches in width from the inner edge of such curb, and such curb shall be set twen- ty (20) feet from the center of said street on either side thereof, ex- cept that at the intersections of streets and alleys where such curb and gutter shall retumn to the lot lines on said Walnut Street", Sec. 3. That sections one and two of Ordinance No. 1750, passed and approved March 2, 1914, be and the same are hereby repealed. Sec. 4.
