1758 City Attorney Salary' r E FD 3 ROMANCE No. -- - OFQINANQE _NO. _1758. - (Published in the Salina Evening Journal May .2/%.? 1914.) An ordinance fixing the compensation of the city attorney, and repealing Ordinance No. 771, passed and approved May 25, 1891. Be it, ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. The salary of the City Attorney shall be nine hund- red dollars per annum, payable monthly; Provided, That in addition he shall be allowed the sum of three dollars as fees in each case in the police court, to be taxed as costs therein, for which the city shall in no case be ldable; and proviedd further, that for all business and cases outside of Saline county he shall be allowed a reasonable com- pensation,, to be agreed upon by the mayor and council before such ser- vices are rendered. Sec. 2. That Ordinance No. 771, passed and approved. May 259 1891, and being an ordinance entitled, "An ordinance fixing the compensation of certain city officers", be and the same is hereby repealed. Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal. Passed and approved May 18th, 1914. _ V. E.
