An ordinance amending section Three (3) of Ordinance No. 1736, and
repealing such original section.so amended.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. Said Otto Peterson shall execute a written contract
with the City of Salina for the construction of such sewer which shall
embody the said specifications and drawings of the city engineer, and he
shall execute in favor of said City of Salina, and the State of Kansas
such bonds of indemnity as may be required by said specifications and the
laws of the State of Kansas.
Sec. 2. Section three (3) of Ordinance No. 1736, passed by the coun-
cil November. 24th, 1913, vetoed by the mayor December 15th, 1913, passed
by the council over the mayor's veto December 15th, 1914, and published
in the official city paper December 20th, 1913, being an ordinance enti-
tled "An ordinance letting the contract for the construction of a certain
sewer in the city of Salina, Kansas," is hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
