1709 AppropraitionsORDINANCE NO -1709.
An Ordinance appropriating the sum of. $24,827.90 in full payment of
all sums of money due the Salina Nater Works Company up to Jan-
uary 1,1913, and. repealing Ordinance No .1703
Whereas, the City of Salina and the Salina Water Works company
have, by resolution of this date,, made an agreement of settlement, as
per the terms and provisions of said resolution aforesaid; and,
Whereas, by.the terms of said settlement, said City of Salina
is indebted to said Salina Water Works company, for hydrant rentals
due said company,up to January 1,1913, in the sum of $24,827.90;
therefore,
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That the sum of Twenty-four thousand eight hundred
twenty-seven dollars and ninety cents 024.,827.90) be and the same
is hereby appropriated out of any .funds in the hands of the city treas-
urer in full payment of. all moneys due the Salina Water Works company
:for hydrant rentals up to the first day of January,1913.
Sec. 2. That Ordinance No -1708, passed and approved March 24,
1913, being.an.ordinance entitled "an ordinance appropriating the sura
of,,,$24,771.53 in payment of the claim of the Salina Vater Works com-
pany up to January 1,1913,01 be and the same is hereby re=pealed.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption.
