ORDINANCE NO./ m
An ordinance prohibiting the use of certain whistles and bells in the
city of Salina.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to blow, ring or
sound, or to attach to any automobile, bicycle, motorcycle or other
Vehicle in such manner as to cause to be sounded, when such vehicle is
in motion., any whistle, bell or device making a sound similar to or
like the whistle or bell used on the fir.ex wagons. or automobiles- of the
city of Salina; and any person violating any of the provisions hereof
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof fined in
any sum not exeeeding ten dollars; Provided, however, that this ordinance
shall not apply to any whistle, beel or xd device used on any of the
fire z vehicles of said city.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after, its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
