ORDINANCE No.�
An Ordinance providing.for the construction.of certain sidewalk in
the.city of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of'the city of Salina:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of any and all real estate °
abutting on the east side of Phillips street between Walnut street and
South street--Ndrth side ofr-i rawford avenue between -Santa Fe avenue
and Front street; and the North side of Minneapolis.avenue between

in the city of Salina, Kansas, are hereby required to construct or cause
to be constructed on or before the �r��
a sidewalk in front of and adjacent to all the lots or parts of lots
above described, said sidewalk to be constructed of the material, width
and in the manner specified and required by the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1038, of the printed ordinances of the city of Salina, which said
ordinance No. 1038 is hereby incorporated i.n and made a par.t of'1bis
ordinance.
Secy 2. That the committee on sidewalks of the city council shall,
as soon as practicable after the said _day of r . 19
cause such sidewalk as described in Section One hereof to be constructed
as herein provided where such"owner or owners fail, neglect or refuse to

build the same, as provided herein, and shall report their proceedings,
together with the length and dimensions of the walk so constructed by
said committee and the actual.expense thereof to the city council.
Seed- 3. The expense of constructing said walk by said committee
shall be assessed against the real estate abutting thereon according to
the er.on't'-f.00t''thereof, and collected as other taxes against such real
esta-te`.f
Se c 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
