ORDIFANCE NO. 16 7�
An Ordinance making a special assessment and levy of taxes for the
cutting of weeds on certain lots and parts of lots in tate city
of Salina, Kansas, for the year 1912.
Be it Ordained by the Payor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. that there be and'is hereby levied a special tax,
for the year 19121 in addition to the tax for general revenue and
other purposes for said year, for the purpose of paying for the
cutting of weeds by the city of Salina, on the lots and parts of
lot; and in the amounts hereinafter described' viz:

Sec. 2. That the city clerk be and is hereby authorized and
directed to immediately certify the assessments made in Section 1
of this ordinance to the county clerk of Saline county, Kansas, to
be placed upon the tax roll for collection subgect to the same
penalties and collected in like manner as other taxes are collected.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force frogs
and after its publication
once
in the
Salina Evening Journal.
