ORDINANCE NUMBER 07-10394
AN ORDINANCE RENAMING THE SALINA BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 1 TO THE "LEE DISTRICT."
WHEREAS, the Salina Business Improvement District No. 1 was established by the City
Commission on October 24, 1983 by Ordinance Number 83-8979; and
WHEREAS, the City of Salina received a request from Salina Downtown, Inc. to rename
the Salina Business Improvement District No. 1. SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED that the governing body of the city of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the Salina Business Improvement District Number 1 established by
Ordinance Number 83-8979 pursuant to K.S.A. 12-1788 is hereby renamed "Lee District."
Section 2. That Ordinance Number 83-8979 is hereby amended to the extent that it refers to
the original name of the Salina Business Improvement District Number 1.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
