RESOLUTION NUMBER 3352

A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE CONSIDERATION
OF ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
That consideration be given to annexation of certain land to the city
and, that notice be issued and a public hearing be scheduled by adoption,
publication and mailing of the following notice:
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ANNEXATION
Notice is hereby given to any and all persons that a public hearing
will be held to consider the annexation to the City of Salina, of the
following described land:
Tract Numbers One thru Thirteen (1-13) -in Golden Acres, a
subdivision of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section Six (6),
and part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Seven (7),
all in Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, except for the
portion of said tracts Twelve (12) and Thirteen (13) which are
presently within the city limits of Salina, Kansas.
A sketch of the proposed annexation is attached to this notice.
Said public hearing will be held at 4:00 P.M. on the 27th day of
March, 1978, in Room .200, City -County Building, 300 West Ash, Salina, Kansas, by
the Governing.Body., at which time the city shall present a proposal for annexation;
including a plan for extension of services to the area proposed to be annexed
and hear comments from all interested persons.
Adopted by the Governing'Body of the City of Salina, Kansas, and
approved by the Mayor this 23rd day of January, 1978.
