RESOLUTION NUMBER 3423
A RESOLUTION GRANTING THE SALINA RECREATION COMMISSION THE RIGHT
TO CONTROL THE CONCESSIONS AT ITS SPONSORED EVENTS, REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBER
3421.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the Salina Recreation Commission is hereby granted
the exclusive control over the food and beverage concessions located in the city
parks or on other property under the city's jurisdiction, during events which are
scheduled or sponsored by the Salina Recreation Commission. This control also
shall extend to the city owned land immediately adjacent to the area used for the
sponsored event; provided however, that nothing herein shall be construed as
granting the Salina Recreation Commission the right to control the concessions
located in the Salina Bicentennial Center.
Section 2. That the City retains the right to control the sale of
concessions in the city parks or on other property under its jurisdiction at all
events other than those scheduled or sponsored by the Salina Recreation Commission
Section 3. That Resolution Number 3421 of the City of Salina, Kansas,
is hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas,
and signed by the Mayor this 7th day of May, 1979.
