RESOLUTION NUMBER 3414
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION AND FILING WITH THE DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT OF A FIFTH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVFLOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION; DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER OR ACTING CITY MANAGER
AS THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY OF SALINA TO ACT IN CONNECTION WITH
THE APPLICATION; AND TO PROVIDE SUCH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS MAY BE REQUESTED.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That :'.the City;af Salina, Kansas,_ prepare and.file with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development an application for Federal assistance
for the fifth year of the Community Development Block Grant Program.
Section 2, That the City Manager or Acting City Manager be designated
as the applicant's chief executive officer and authorized representative.
Section 3. As the chief executive officer and authorized representative
of the applicant, the City Manager or Acting..City Manager is hereby authorized
to sign and file the application, including all understandings and assurances
contained therein, to act in conncetion with the application and to provide
such additional information as may be required.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
15th day of March, 1979.
