A RESOLUTION DETERMINING IT NECESSARY TO APPROPRIATE PRIVATE PROPERTY
FOR THE USE OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING IMPROVEMENTS
TO CRAWFORD STREET AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE A
SURVEY AND DESCRIPTION OF THE LAND NECESSARY FOR SUCH PURPOSES.
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That it appears necessary that the City of Salina, Kansas,
acquire.by purchase or by proper authorization and proceedings in eminent domain,
certain parts, parcels and tracts of land necessary for the purpose of maki.ng
improvements to Crawford Street in the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Engineer is hereby directed and instructed
to cause to be prepared and made a survey of the lands necessary for such purpose!
and to prepare a certificate showing the result of such survey over his signature
and to cause the same to be filed with the office of the City Clerk of the City
of Salina, Kansas. Said report of the City Engineer shall contain a description
of the lands necessary for such purposes.
Section 3. After the filing of said survey and report of the City
Engineer in the office of the City Clerk, that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby directed to cause a proper ordinance to be prepared and submitted to the
Board of Commissioners for consideration for the appropriation proceedings
relating to the said lands.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after its adoption and publication in the official city newspaper.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
22nd day of March, 1982.
