81-3545 Landfill Service Fee1 1 RESOLUTION NUMBER 81-3545 (Published in The Salina Journal 1981) A RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING THE SERVICE FEE CHARGED RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF SALINA FOR USE OF THE CITY OF SALINA LANDFILL. WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, deems it advisable and in the best interest of the City of Salina, Kansas that property owners and tenants be encouraged to clean up their premises and dispose of accumulated trash and other solid waste; and WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 8315 provides that the Board of Commissioners may, by Resolution, temporarily suspend the collection of the service fees for the use of the landfill, SO NOW, THEREFORE, Kansas: BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to waive the fee established by Resolution Number 80-3512, of $1.50 for automobiles and station wagons, $4.00 for two -wheel trailers and 12,000 or less registered gross weight trucks, on the days of Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, 1981; provided that no other class or commercial hauler vehicle shall receive this waiver; and provided, furthemorer, that only persons possessing a driver's license with a City of Salina address wi.11 receive said fee waiver.
