A RESOLUTION expressing gratitude and appreciation for services
rendered by A. LAVERNE BROCKWAY as an employee of the City of Salina Fire
Department from April 22, 1957 to March 20, 1981.
WHEREAS, during the period of April 22, 1957 to March 20, 1981
A. LAVERNE BROCKWAY served in many positions in the Salina Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, A. LAVERNE BROCKWAY has demonstrated invaluable and dedicated
service to the City of Salina and the Salina Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, such services and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to A. LAVERNE BROCKWAY for his dedicated services as Salina Fire Marshal and
other positions be and the same is hereby made and spread upon the official
records of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to A. LAVERNE BROCKWAY.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
Z6th day of March, 1981.
