RESOLUTION NUMBER. 80-3517

A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT IS IS NECESSARY THAT THE CITY OF SALINA
ACQUIRE CERTAIN FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL
OBLIGATION BONDS TO PAY THE COST THEREOF.
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That it is hereby determined that it is necessary to acquire
the following Fire Fighting equipment for the use of. the Fire Department of the
City of Salina, Kansas, to -wit:
Two (2) - 1500 G.P.M. Custom Fire Pumpers
Section 2. That the City of Salina, Kansas will acquire the above
described fire equipment at a cost at not to exceed $20,000.
Section 3. That it is the intention of the City of Salina, Kansas, to
pay for the cost of the above mentioned fire equipment by the issuance of its
General Obligation Bonds, maturing not more than 15 years from their date all
las provided for by K.S.A. 1979 Supp. 12-110 (c).
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish this
resolution and also to publish a notice of the intention of the City of Salina,
Kansas, to issue its General Obligation Bonds as above provided.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
17th day of November, 1980.
